Step 2 requires you to post a tweet on X (Twitter) containing the hashtag #gascoin and paste the URL of that tweet into the submission portal. The system automatically checks the tweet against 4 verification criteria.
How to post your tweet
- Open X (Twitter) in a new tab
- Make sure your account is set to public. Private accounts cannot be verified
- Compose a new tweet. The tweet must contain the text #gascoin anywhere in the body. Any other content is acceptable
- Post the tweet
- Click the Share button on your tweet and copy the tweet URL. The URL format is: https://x.com/yourhandle/status/1234567890123456789
- Return to the GASCOIN submit page and paste this URL into the tweet URL input field
What the system checks automatically
After you paste the tweet URL and wait approximately 2-8 seconds, the system runs 4 checks automatically:
What you see after verification
If all 4 tweet checks pass, a preview card appears below the input showing your handle, how long ago the tweet was posted, and confirmation that #gascoin was detected. Step 2 advances automatically.
If any check fails, a specific error message appears telling you exactly which check failed and why. You must fix the issue and paste the URL again. You do not need to start over from Step 1.
