What this gate checks

Gate 5 uses optical character recognition (OCR) to scan your receipt photo for the last 4 characters of your Solana wallet address. The system extracts handwritten characters and compares them against the last 4 characters of the wallet you connected in Step 1. They must match.

Common failure reasons

  • Characters written too small to be read by OCR
  • Characters written in pencil or light ink — low contrast against receipt paper
  • Photo taken at an angle that distorts the handwritten text
  • Characters written on a separate piece of paper held next to the receipt — must be written directly on the receipt
  • Wrong characters written — do not match the last 4 of the wallet connected in Step 1
  • Characters partially obscured by a fold or crease in the receipt

How to ensure Gate 5 passes

Write the last 4 characters of your wallet address in black pen directly on the receipt. Use clear, printed characters. Write large — at least 3-4mm tall. Double-check before photographing. Take the photo from directly above, not at an angle.

IMPORTANT: This is the most commonly failed gate. Before submitting, zoom in on your receipt photo on your phone and verify the characters are fully readable. If you cannot read them clearly, retake the photo.
