Tweet Engagement Points
Every #gascoin tweet linked to a submission is tracked via the X API. Every 6 hours, the system fetches your tweet's real engagement metrics and awards points.
What Earns Points
Six engagement metrics are tracked:
- Quote Tweets — 500 points each. Creates new content — highest value
- Replies — 300 points each. X rewards conversation depth
- Bookmarks — 250 points each. Saves indicate genuine value
- Retweets — 50 points each. Passive amplification — X devalues this
- Likes — 25 points each. Passive, low-signal engagement
- Impressions — 1 point each. Raw reach baseline
Content type multipliers also apply: original video 3x, original image 1.5x, text 1x, quote 0.5x, external link 0.3x, repost 0.1x. Create original content — X's algorithm rewards it and so do we.
Caps
5,000 points max per tweet. 10,000 points max per day. 50,000 points max per month. Consistent daily content beats one viral moment.
How Scoring Works
Points are awarded incrementally. Each hourly cycle calculates the delta since the last check. You earn points for new engagement only — not retroactively. Only tweets with #gascoin are scored.
